Akbar Zareh, the founder and the Broker of Record, has been in business for over 22 successful years. Akbar started his career with Royal LePage, and in 1990 he joined the RE/MAX organization. Akbar owned and managed RE/MAX Realty One with three branches – two in Mississauga and one in Markham with over 100 agents. As an agent, Akbar won numerous awards including TOP 10 agent in Canada and TOP 75 Worldwide in 2004 with his former company. Akbar’s true purpose is recruiting and training. He provides outstanding training by sharing his secrets and teaching agents exactly what he does to be a top producing real estate agent.
Lang Vuong, General Manager, combines his wealth of IT knowledge and teaching experience with the ever-growing real estate industry. Aside from directing the daily operations of the brokerage and developing long-term strategies for the company, he also spends considerable time training agents on internet marketing, branding, search engine optimization, and creative ways to stay ahead of the competition. As an experienced and practicing REALTOR, Lang strives to bring relevant and current real estate issues and trends to the forefront of the training program. Lang is passionate about real estate and helping his agents succeed, and always has an open-door policy for those in need. Lang currently sits on the Board Of Directors at St. Leonard’s Place Peel, the TREB MLS Committee, and the TREB Arbitration Committee.
Marta Castelhano, Office Manager, started her real estate career in new condo sales in Toronto and quickly moved to resale homes. Prior to that she work in Information Technology Healthcare and holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Marta’s passion for real estate shows through her commitment to the brokerage. While practicing real estate and taking care of her own clients, she is always available to support her fellow agents. Whether it is a quick question about a transaction, or strategies on growing our business, she is always ready and willing to help, especially those who are new to real estate. Marta believes that a positive attitude, integrity, and vision are the cornerstones of success in this business.
Steve Mihalyi, Trainer/Coach, has been a highly active and successful Real Estate agent for over 25 years in the Mississauga and Greater Toronto area and has experienced working at all of the top three International Real Estate Companies in Canada throughout his career, Century 21, Re/Max and Royal LePage. During his career, he received numerous sales and achievement awards from all three of these companies and was one of the first recipients of the “Honored Hall Of Fame Award” which recognized multiple Canada-wide “Top Sales Awards” received by an individual. Steve not only achieved many personal sales successes in his lengthy career but was also successfully involved in mentoring and training many new and seasoned Real Estate agents at all three of his past companies, some of whom have since become top producers in their own right. Mentoring and training fellow agents is something that few Realtors like to do because of the time involved as well as fearing future competition, but Steve has never hesitated to help his fellow agents improve their skills and knowledge and says he thoroughly enjoys being a mentor/trainer and is always available to them when called upon.
Janice Etzler manages the Accounting and Finance Department. She has over 10 years real estate accounting and finance experience. She is passionate and dedicated to her job, and is always available to help her agents. Janice spends a portion of every day committed to payroll. That means if an agent has a deal that day, she works to get them paid the same day.
Nicole Tran is the Deal Administrator. She is a cornerstone of the office, and her diligence and relentless commitment to every transaction is invaluable. Nicole works hard to make sure every deal is smooth and problem-free.
